The Lodge runs its own solar battery off-grid capable electrical system, and sources all water from a spring on sight. The water passes through a high tech LED system which cleans and purifies without chemicals.
We are committed to supporting the local community. With 2% of profits donated to local community projects

SPLIT APPLE ROCK
TOWERS BAY BEACH
Seen from Towers Bay Beach, or the cliff point of a section of the property, the iconic Split Apple Rock never ceases to amazing.
The rock, naturally formed in the shape of an apple, has split in two clean and equal parts. The Maori's believe it was split in half by the Gods, science says it was water. We at Towers Bay Lodge consider it to have a magical and protective nature, that we welcome you to experience during your stay.
Accessible by water during low tide, guests are welcome to take one of the kayaks out on a still day to explore the magic for themselves.
